Floadt Brief

Floadt was a side project I was working on during high school from 2013-2015. I wanted to create a solution for managing multiple social media accounts on a uniform frontend. The app displayed the users feed for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter in a Pinterest type UI. I also implemented features such as hiding certain users from your feed, checking wether a user follows you back, and also timed publishing where posts would be posted on all three platforms.

The major takeaway from this project was that coexistence was not possible. The companies eventually began scaling back on their API's preventing developers to make third party clients. This prevented my idea from ever being published and coming to complete fruition. Although I did manage to get strong exposure to networking fundamentals and handling REST API's at a young age.
